Commissions
We love sourcing furniture to upcycle but we also get very excited when a customer comes to us with a much-loved piece of furniture of their own that they want to transform. Contact us via email or the web form and we will discuss your ideas, offer a few of our own and give you a quote for the transformation. This page gives you some examples of work we have completed so far. Now what have you got in the attic....?
Rocking Chair
This beautiful piece was in poor condition when it came to us. We stripped off the old varnish and agreed a green / yellow colour scheme with the client. The hearts on the back were a bit of a gamble but we liked them!
Chest of Drawers
This was a Christmas present. Our client wanted something unique. We sourced the chest of drawers from a charity shop, cleaned it up and then used a combination of Pressed Fern (green) and Vintage Gold paints to detail this intricate design
Victorian Occasional Table
This family heirloom was in very poor condition with damaged veneer, water marks and many chips and dents. We carefully restored the basic structure and then went for a combination of Pressed Fern and Copper paints to pick out some of the detail in the table legs.
Stool
This wasn't really a commission but I had this stool kicking around, I wanted to have a go at decoupage (using paper images for decoration) and I was a bit bored on a rainy Tuesday afternoon!
